What are ADAC Superplätz?
The ADAC Superplatz seal is one of the most prestigious recognitions in the European camping sector. It is only awarded to establishments that achieve 5 stars after a thorough inspection process.
Every year, specialized inspectors visit European campsites and evaluate over 200 unified criteria, including the quality of sanitary facilities, the quality of the pitches, gastronomic offer, leisure activities, and bathing options.
Only campsites that meet the highest standards earn the ADAC Superplatz distinction.
Catalonia also shines at the PiNCAMP Awards 2026
In addition to ADAC Superplätz, Catalan campsites also stood out at the PiNCAMP Awards 2026, considered the most prestigious European awards in the sector.
Camping & Resort Sangulí Salou was winner in the “Best Accommodation” category, while Tamarit Beach Resort was finalist in the “Innovation and Progress” category, both being the only campsites from Spain to reach the European finals, strengthening Catalonia’s international camping leadership.
